AQUARIUS at the Marriott Resort was the first AQUARIUS centre in Hurghada over 10 years ago. Located on the beach it has its own jetty for our fleet of dive boats and modern diver training facilities. The centre is renowned for dive tours and dive training for beginners and experienced.

We are only five minutes from the centre of Hurghada and within easy reach of all the downtown hotels.


Hurghada was the first Red Sea resort to develop in the very late 70’s and early 80’s. A firm favourite for many European and Russian divers. Whilst diving is a strong attraction for divers it also has lots to offer non divers with great hotels, sandy beaches, warm water and year round sunshine. The total holiday package for all is rounded off with great bars, worldwide cuisine restaurants and disco’s for the tireless.

AQUARIUS Diving Club at the Marriott is managed by Hassan Abdelmalek, PADI and SSI scuba diver instructor, with an International staff of over 25 in support. Hassan is born and bred in Hurghada and does what he loves best… diving and ensuring his customers are well taken care of.

Training and guiding is in French, German, Italian, English, Scandinavian, Russian and Arabic.
